🏴☠️ Treasure Hunt
Treasure Hunt is co-operative deduction on a hidden grid. Every dig that isn’t gold tells you how much gold is next to it, so a careful team can triangulate the whole map from a handful of clues — and a careless one hits a bomb.
- 2–4 players
- Co-operative
- Bots available
How to play
- The grid hides seven treasures and a number of bombs.
- Digging an empty square reveals a clue: how many treasures sit adjacent to it.
- Each player gets one sonar scan that reveals the treasure count around a square without digging it.
- Bombs cost the team a life. Run out of lives or digs and the hunt is over.
How you win
Find all seven treasures before you run out of lives or digs.
Tips that actually help
- Dig in open space first. A clue in the middle of nowhere tells you far more than one in a corner.
- Save sonar for a square you suspect but can’t afford to be wrong about.
- A zero clue is gold in its own right — it clears eight squares at once.
In-game summary
Three treasure chests (7 gold tiles) are buried in an 8×8 island, along with 6 bombs. Take turns digging. A number tells you how far the nearest gold is (in steps). Find all 7 gold tiles before you run out of digs or hit 3 bombs. Finding gold gives you another dig. Each player has one Sonar: it counts the gold in a 3×3 area without digging.
