💣 Bomb Squad
Bomb Squad splits your table in two: one person is looking at a wiring panel they can’t interpret, and everyone else is holding instructions for a bomb they can’t see. The whole game happens in the conversation between them.
- 2–4 players
- Co-operative
- Real players only
How to play
- One player is the defuser and sees the wires. Everyone else sees the manual.
- The manual’s rules depend on what the defuser describes, so descriptions have to be precise.
- The timer does not stop for arguments.
How you win
Cut the right wire before the clock runs out. You all win or all lose.
Tips that actually help
- Defusers: describe exactly what you see before anyone starts theorising. Colour, position, count.
- Experts: read the rule that matches, not the one you remember from last round.
- Agree on left-to-right ordering before you start. Most losses are a numbering mix-up.
In-game summary
One of you is the Defuser and sees the bomb. Everyone else is an Expert and sees the manual. 5 minutes, 4 modules, 3 strikes. Describe everything out loud (call each other, or use the chat). The defuser rotates every game.
