#️⃣ Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe
Regular tic-tac-toe is solved and boring. Ultimate fixes it with one rule: the square you play inside a small board sends your opponent to the matching board. Suddenly every move is two decisions — where you want to win, and where you’re willing to send them.

How to play
- Nine small boards sit in a 3×3 grid. Win a small board and you claim its square on the big one.
- Whichever square you play in decides which small board your opponent must play in next.
- If you send them to a board that is already won or full, they get a free choice of any open board.
- Small boards that end in a draw are claimed by nobody.
How you win
Claim three small boards in a row on the big grid. If every board fills first, whoever claimed more wins.
Tips that actually help
- Sending your opponent somewhere harmless matters more than winning the board you’re in.
- Avoid giving them a free choice. A free choice is usually worth a whole small board.
- The centre board is the most valuable — it takes part in four of the eight winning lines.
In-game summary
Nine small boards make one big board. Win a small board to claim its square, and win three claimed squares in a row to win the game. The catch: whichever square you play in decides which small board your opponent must play in next. Send them to a board that is already finished and they get a free choice.
