🚢 Battleship
Battleship has more strategy than its reputation suggests. Firing at random wastes half your shots — the smallest ship is two squares long, so you only ever need to check every other square to find something.

How to play
- Both fleets are laid out for you. Shuffle until you like yours, then lock it in.
- Take turns firing at the other grid. A hit earns you another shot immediately.
- Five ships: a four, two threes and two twos.
How you win
Sink all five enemy ships.
Tips that actually help
- Search in a checkerboard pattern. No ship can hide entirely on squares you skipped.
- After a hit, fire next to it until you find the direction, then follow that line to the end.
- Track which ships are sunk. Once the twos are gone, you can widen your search pattern.
