🎲 Liar's Dice
Liar’s Dice is a bluffing game with actual arithmetic underneath. With five players holding five dice each, any given face should show up about eight times counting wilds — so a bid of nine is optimistic, and a bid of fourteen is a lie you should call.

How to play
- Everyone rolls five dice and keeps them hidden. Ones are wild and count as any face.
- Bids describe the whole table: "four 3s" means at least four 3s exist across all hands.
- Each bid must raise the last — a higher quantity, or the same quantity with a higher face.
- Call a bid you think is a lie. If it was too high, the bidder loses a die; if it was true, you do.
- Lose all five dice and you are out.
How you win
Be the last player with dice.
Tips that actually help
- Count your own dice, then assume a third of the unknown dice show any given face. Bids far above that are lies.
- Bidding a face you hold none of is a strong bluff — but only once. People notice.
- As dice run out the maths gets sharper and bluffing gets riskier. Play straighter late.
